In my previous post, "Revolutionizing Recruitment: Harnessing AI for Intelligent CV Screening", I discussed how AI can improve CV screening using Large Language Models (LLMs) and GraphDB to rank candidates accurately. This advanced approach allows us to extract key skills and experiences, enabling quicker and more precise candidate evaluation.
Putting the Algorithm to Work
We've now taken this innovative algorithm and integrated it into our custom HR recruiting app. This app empowers our HR team to swiftly identify the best candidates for new positions, streamlining the recruitment process. The primary goal is to automate the initial CV screening step, significantly reducing the time and effort required to sift through numerous applications.
How It Works
When a job posting is uploaded into the app, it undergoes a sophisticated parsing process. The system extracts various acceptance criteria, which we refer to as ranking criteria. These criteria include specific skills, experiences, and qualifications necessary for the job.
Our HR team can then define the importance of each criterion based on the job's unique requirements. For instance, certain skills might be deemed more critical and thus given higher weight in the ranking process. The system evaluates and scores each CV against these criteria, considering both the importance of each factor and the candidate's experience in terms of years.

By leveraging our own AI solutions, we enable our HR team to focus on the more crucial aspects of recruitment—directly engaging with candidates. The app's automated screening process ensures that only the most qualified candidates are shortlisted, allowing our HR professionals to dedicate their time to interviewing and vetting candidates.
Future Enhancements
In addition to the current capabilities, we are continually exploring further automations to enhance our recruitment process. While the current focus is on automating CV screening and ranking, we have additional tools in development to streamline other aspects of HR functions. However, those innovations are a story for another day.
